Goals of Compassionism

  1.    Every living thing will have a safe, stable, and uplifting home, ample nutritious food, clean and pure water, fresh air, sunshine, and life balance

  2.    Everyone will live in well resourced, connected, diverse, supportive, thriving, compassionate communities

  3.    Every problem will be met with support, collaboration, and asking everyone impacted to guide and evaluate its solutions

  4.    Everyone will be matched with jobs based on their passions, needs, and abilities

  5.    All parents and caregivers will have the resources, support, time, and information they need to raise joyful, safe, healthy, loved children

  6.    Native plants, including fresh fruits, nuts, and vegetables, will thrive everywhere, ensuring all living things can access free nutritious food

  7. Every time someone feels sad, scared, or overwhelmed, there will be a kind, welcoming, safe, empathetic, helpful person they can easily talk to

  8.    Everyone will feel genuinely seen, loved, safe, connected, and supported

  9.    Everyone’s errors and mistakes will be greeted with compassionate support, guidance, and accountability, not judgment, shame, or punishment

  10.    We will all have people we feel safe sharing our truths with, even the truths we feel shame about

  11.    We will all be able to freely access the resources needed to sing, dance, play instruments, paint, sculpt, draw, and enjoy creativity and movement

  12.    When someone is struggling, it will be considered normal to calmly and compassionately ask them how we can best help and support them

  13.    It will be considered "normal" to share what we have lots of with those who have less, and to do what’s best for the greater good

  14.    It will be commonly understood that taking care of each other and the world around us is the easiest, least expensive, happiest way to live
